Jim brings over twenty years of professional experience to consulting projects. Unlike typical IT careers, Jim started his career in Internal Auditing. He performed and led financial, operational, and EDP audits at major corporations. After ten years in Internal Audit and two credentials, Jim accepted a position as a Lead Analyst developing applications and databases for property insurance and workers compensation claims processing.

At Deltanet, Jim was responsible for managing IT projects as well as client and vendor relationships in the Northeast US territory. After Deltanet, Jim accepted a position with Unibrain SA, a firewire hardware and software manufacturer based in Athens, Greece as their E-Commerce Manager. Jim redesigned the company's web sites for the American market and increased online business revenue.

Since September 2002, Jim has focused on Lucas Consulting. Lucas Consulting builds E-Commerce sites, provides hardware & software consulting, as well as other services. Jim holds certifications in IT Auditing, IT Governance, and Information Systems Security.

Personal

Jim is a San Francisco resident and an active member of many business networking groups in the city. He is very active within the San Francisco Greek community and serves on the boards of several business networking groups. He regularly posts news and articles of interest to the SFG Blog and he writes monthly articles for Neo Magazine.
